this year for ben's birthday, we dedicated the day to ben & did everything that he loves. ben's parents, jake & sue were in town for the weekend, and helped celebrate the birthday boy! our birthday lineup included: breakfast at chick fil-a, golf, farmers market, watching the razorbacks football practice (just the boys), lunch at whole hog, playing at gulley park, relaxing at home, basketball, and ice cream sundaes.
we started the day off pretty early, and here is ben with a present from his parents!
then onto golfing at a local par 3 course.
i was a bit captivated by all the pretty flowers and trees blooming! spring is finally to show it's face here in fayetteville, and we couldn't be more ready. especially since we had such a cold late-winter.
i love this one below of ben and his momma walking (they are not in focus). they have such a great mother-son relationship! sue is a great mother of two boys, and i am lucky to have such an easy-going, yet caring mother-in-law.
