aunt/uncle time!

Well, life here in the Rockies has been wonderful. Ben & I just finished our first week with Student Venture and we feel it was a success! We have been working hard with the kids enjoying hiking, going to Elitch Gardens, having an American Gladiator experience, & living life with Campus Crusade staff kids. It has been a blast!

And what do we do when we aren't at work? Spending time with these kiddos!!!

I LOVE being an aunt & have had the greatest time with these four!



Terry Bison Ranch

Yesterday Ben & I journeyed with some our staff team to a Bison Ranch in Wyoming! It was such a fun outing & Cultural experience. Here are some pictures from our walk around the Ranch.








The highlight of our trip wad a train ride to see the Bison! Our train guide was a highly awarded native American man. He was definitely a highlight.





So far we LOVE Colorado & feel so blessed to be here!

Golfing Together

My husband LOVES golf! For Christmas last year my Dad bought Ben a set of golf clubs for a ridiculous bargain. Finally Ben talked me into experiencing his favorite hobby with him. We had a great time at a local driving range this afternoon.








I still have a long way to go until I'm a "skilled golfer" but really enjoyed the quality time with my main man!

Birthday Celebrations!

Last night my sweet parents took Ben & I out for an early birthday celebration to Beau Jo's Pizza! It was such a great memory! I have loved our time with my parents & treasure this summer together already. It's such a blessing to see how close my Dad & Ben have become. They played golf in the a.m. & were inseparable almost the whole day! My Dad seems to be so exited about having Ben here as another male!

Here is what my Dad & Ben shared. It was a Colorado style pizza & they requested a LOT of meat. Typical. :)





Then, my Mother & I split the spaghetti-in-a-breadbowl dish, it was so unique!





It was such a great start to my 23 birthday!

More Headbands!

Day 2 in KC

As I write this post Ben & I are driving across the state of Kansas on our way to Colorado for the summer! We are so excited to see my parents & soak up a great summer in beautiful CO!

Yesterday Ben joined Andrea & I in our KC adventures. We really enjoyed our time exploring the city! Here is the view from the WW1 memorial looking down on the city.


Here are Ben & Andrea in front of the memorial. It is the only WW1 memorial in America!


We also were able to visit "The Nelson Art Museum".


I'm so glad I got to spend the weekend with this sweet girl! She was the best hostess!

Weekend in KC

This weekend the Seilers (as in us, Ben & Jenn) have been enjoying the thriving town of Kansas City, Kansas/Missouri! Ben was just in a wedding tonight, & so we decided to make a weekend out of the wedding & enjoy KC. It has been such a blast staying with my dear friend, Andrea. She has been so kind to give me tours & very patient with all my questions :)

Friday evening we headed to look at art galleries near downtown & Andrea took me to this candy store! I didn't want to eat my piece because it looked too cute! But, I did... :)



I love all the old buildings in this city. Such history! I really wonder what it would have been like back in the day.



One of the highlights of my week so far was an antique store, "Good Juju". I wanted everything in the store!!! Especially this...









Tomorrow we have a busy day ahead. I'm trying not to fall in love with big cities & beautiful homes. Trying.

The Blueberry Farm

Yesterday we ventured to the Bluberry Farm in Lampe, Mo. I LOVE going there! Here are some pictures from our outing.
